Hi, my name is Alex O'Callaghan and I've been practicing yoga for about 10 years. I started a more intentional yoga routine when I was looking to stay fit while recovering from an injury I received while running and fell in love with the different styles and the way it made my body feel.
I signed up for 2 free weeks at Core Power Yoga and took class almost daily. I left each class feeling empowered from seeing increased flexibility and strength and by the end of the two weeks my body could do poses I couldn’t do on my first day! Before long I was a regular and eventually became a certified yoga teacher through their teacher training program.
I taught at Core Power for approximately two years and only stopped because of my maternity leave and then the pandemic. Since then, I have continued to practice yoga on my own and teach classes periodically.
My hope for you is to find joy and peace through practicing yoga and grow your strength and flexibility. I hope to see you in one of my classes!
